The ACLU of Vermont Action Team is powered by volunteers from across the state who are committed to protecting and expanding civil rights & liberties. Action Team members are given the tools and support to engage in opportunities such as tabling at events, hosting letter writing parties, being a social media ambassador, and much more.

If you’re eager to get involved—or if you know you want to make change in your community but aren’t exactly sure where to begin—the Action Team is for you. You’ll work closely with ACLU-VT staff to decide which opportunities are a good fit.

Joining the Action Team will give you access to monthly newsletters, event invitations, and unique opportunities to engage with fellow members, ACLU-VT staff, and your elected officials. Most importantly, the Action Team is a community of folks who call Vermont home and have a shared belief that everyone deserves to live in a community that is vibrant and thriving.

Curious about the team but unsure if this is the right opportunity for you? Feel free to reach out to Jess, our Advocacy & Outreach Manager, at [email protected] with any questions or ideas. Jess oversees the Action Team and is available to meet with folks one-on-one to discuss getting involved with the ACLU of Vermont.
