This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, and the emergence of the LGBTQ movement. On Sunday, September 8, join us in Burlington as we march for the rights of all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, queer, and questioning people.
We’re excited to celebrate Pride with our friends and supporters—RSVP to march with ACLU by emailing us at [email protected]. We’ll send you the meeting location and details, and the first 20 people to sign up to march with us and will receive an ACLU Pride t-shirt.
You can march behind the ACLU of Vermont banner or bring your own signs. Whatever you do, get colorful and get proud. Parade begins at 12:30 p.m., meeting place TBD. After the parade, stop by our table starting at 1 p.m. to learn more about the ACLU’s work in Vermont.
For more information on Vermont Pride 2019, see the official website or their Facebook page for updates on events.
And, don't forget to RSVP today to march with us by emailing us at [email protected].
See you in Burlington!
